Dr Lam is a consultant endocrinologist based in Westmead and Lidcombe. She is experienced in the treatment of all diabetes and endocrine conditions, and provides a friendly, personalised approach to all your concerns. Dr Lam is highly experienced in the treatment of diabetes and hormonal disorders. Her areas of interests are in diabetes, weight management, PCOS, thyroid conditions and men’s health.

She graduated from the University of New South Wales with honours in 2008 and completed her residency at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospital. She undertook endocrine specialist training at Westmead Hospital and gained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2016. In 2019, Dr Lam was awarded the prestigious Bryan Hudson award in clinical endocrinology by the Australian Endocrine Society for her work in the field of exercise medicine, metabolic syndrome, and cancer. She attained her PhD at Western Sydney University in 2021.

Dr Lam is a staff specialist at Westmead Hospital, where she is the clinical lead of operations at the diabetes integrated care clinic. She also heads the high-risk diabetes foot clinic and works as part of a multidisciplinary team in the metabolic clinic, closely collaborating with weight loss surgeons. She is a visiting medical officer at Norwest Private Hospital and lectures for the University of Sydney. She has published in peer-reviewed medical journals both nationally and internationally and has presented at both national and international conferences.
